We are excited to announce that Aimee Langlois will be our new Head Volleyball Coach to lead our varsity team and oversee the development of our entire volleyball program.
Coach Langlois has over 15 years of volleyball coaching experience. This past season she was the Head Volleyball Coach at Emery/Weiner where they competed in TAPPS 5A. Before that she was the Head Volleyball Coach at Northland Christian, where she led her team to the TAPPS State Tournament finishing the 2018 season as the State Runner-Up. Coach Langlois was chosen as the female Coach of the Year. Prior to her time at Northland Christian, she was the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Cypress Falls High School. Coach Langlois has also served as the Head Volleyball Coach at Legacy Prep Christian Academy where she oversaw the volleyball program 6th-12th grade.
Coach Langlois began her volleyball career at Tarkington High School, where she was a four-year letterman as an outside hitter, defensive specialist, setter and captain. She played club volleyball at Club Texas and Willowbrook for 6 years. She received a full scholarship to play college volleyball at Galveston College where she was ranked nationally in aces and assists. She transferred to Sam Houston State University to complete her bachelor's degree in Health Education with a minor in Kinesiology
Coach Langlois is married to husband, Jared, and they have two beautiful children, Adaline (5) and Easton (3). They love to hang out with family, friends and vacation on the Frio River. They are active in the church and enjoy serving their community.
We are really excited to add Coach Langlois to our Wildcat family. Her experience in the game of volleyball will continue to make our program stronger. More importantly, we know Coach Langlois will use the game to strengthen the character of our Wildcat Volleyball players. Coach Langlois has shown the ability to teach a love of the game while developing leaders on and off the court.
